Terms of Service

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], [COUNTRY] ("1onHost", "we", "us"). They apply to every service you order from us: web hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS and dedicated servers, NovaPanel licences, domains and anything else we sell, and to the use of our website and customer area at https://1onhost.com.

By creating an account or placing an order you accept these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter into a contract.
  • Give us true, complete contact details and keep them up to date. We send invoices, service notices and security messages to your e-mail address.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your account and your services, including by people you give access to. Keep your passwords and API keys secret and turn on two-factor authentication.
  • One person or company per account. Accounts may not be resold or transferred without our written consent.

2. Orders and payment

  • Prices are shown in the customer area and on our website. Taxes are added where the law requires.
  • Services are billed in advance for the billing period you choose (for example monthly or yearly) and renew automatically until you cancel them.
  • We send a renewal invoice before the due date. If you keep credit (a balance) with us, we use it to pay renewals automatically.
  • If an invoice is not paid by its due date, we may suspend the service after a short grace period and terminate it if it stays unpaid. Data of terminated services is deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods. We tell you at least 30 days before a price increase takes effect for your service.
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes opened without first contacting us may lead to immediate suspension of the account.

3. Using our services

  • You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. It forbids, among other things, spam, malware, phishing, attacks on other networks and illegal content.
  • Shared hosting resources (CPU, memory, processes, disk, e-mails per hour) are shared fairly between customers. "Unlimited" means unmetered within normal use for a personal or small-business website, not unlimited use of physical resources.
  • On a VPS or dedicated server you are the administrator: you are responsible for its security, updates, software licences, backups and everything that runs on it.
  • We may block, limit or suspend a service that harms our network, other customers or third parties, or that breaks these terms, if needed without notice. We tell you why and, where possible, how to fix it.

4. NovaPanel licences

  • A NovaPanel licence is bound to the public IP address you give us. It lets you run NovaPanel on one server at a time (unless your plan says otherwise).
  • You may move a licence to another IP a limited number of times per month from the customer area; more moves need our support.
  • Licences are for the server they are bound to. Sharing, cracking or bypassing the licence check is not allowed and ends the licence without refund.
  • Resellers may sell licences to their own customers under their own terms, but stay responsible to us for those licences and for keeping enough prepaid balance to renew them.

5. Backups and your data

  • Your content stays yours. You give us only the rights we need to host and deliver it.
  • We take backups of shared hosting as described on our website, but you must keep your own backups. We are not responsible for lost data, even when backups are part of your plan.
  • When a service ends, we delete its data after the period stated in our policies.

6. Availability and support

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that services are always available or error-free. Planned maintenance is announced when possible.
  • Support is provided through tickets in the customer area. We help with our services and platform; help with your own code, third-party software or server administration may be limited or charged.

7. Cancellation and termination

  • You can cancel a service at any time in the customer area, either at the end of the billing period or immediately. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
  • We may terminate services or your account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for fraud, or when required by law.

8. Liability

  • Our services are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the three months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
  • You will compensate us for claims by third parties caused by your content or by your breach of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We publish the new version here with its effective date and tell you by e-mail about important changes at least 14 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you may cancel your services before the change takes effect.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]. Courts in [COUNTRY] have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to your local courts.
